We are a privately owned SME based in a light industrial estate just north of Luton, Bedfordshire. Since 2013, we’ve specialised in steel and metalwork fabrication. Our 12,000 sq ft facility houses manufacturing, administration, storage, painting, and distribution areas. With a skilled team handling design, management, fabrication, and installation, we provide a full-service experience. As a family-oriented business, we value community ties and attention to detail, demonstrating our commitment to quality and service. We excel at managing challenging sites while minimising disruption by working closely with clients.
We offer steel fabrication and installation services for the construction and commercial sectors. Operating from our own premises, we design, fabricate, finish, and deliver various structural and secondary steel structures. Flexibility is our greatest strength; we remain hands-on and adaptable to meet the unique needs of each project.
At S.A.H. Luton Ltd, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional structural steelwork and architectural metalwork to help build a stronger, better world. Our focus is on creating innovative, sustainable, and high-quality steel solutions that adapt to the evolving needs of our clients and industry. This includes Structural Steel Frames, Structural Alterations, Mezzanine Floors, Temporary Works, Miscellaneous Metalwork, Balconies, Escape Stairs, and Security Doors.
Our facility can fabricate up to 10 tonnes of steel per week and offers various finishes for completed components, including painting, galvanising, shot blasting, and powder coating. We handle contracts ranging from £5k to over £1m and have clear vesting processes to confirm ownership of materials awaiting delivery. Our in-house design team ensures precision and reliability throughout every project.

Construction Director
Steve Smart
Steve is a seasoned Construction Director with 34 years of experience, including 28 years in senior leadership roles.
He specialises in overseeing commercial and industrial construction projects, excelling in every phase from planning and scheduling to quality control and project completion.
Known for consistently delivering projects on time and within budget, Steve prioritises safety and quality.
He's passionate about fostering strong client relationships and promoting a collaborative work atmosphere.
Operations Manager
Adrian Rich
Adrian has been part of SAH Luton since 2012, bringing extensive experience as an Operations Manager with skills in procurement, compliance, and quality assurance. He is instrumental in rolling out essential systems and processes across the company.
He manages material procurement, logistics, and certification, ensuring every project meets industry standards and surpasses client expectations.
